John Brack lived in Bal­wyn North, not far from the Plotkin House, for approx­i­mate­ly 10 years. It was a pro­lif­ic time for him, in which he paint­ed some of his most recog­nised works. This peri­od of work pro­vides the inspi­ra­tion to lay the foun­da­tion for our inte­ri­ors con­cept. The paint­ings are a rich source of colour, tex­ture, form and nar­ra­tive, dis­play­ing a mas­tery of aes­thet­ic skills and com­po­si­tion to achieve their impact. A sin­gle moment cap­tured in time that endures. 

Our home for a young fam­i­ly is a space that con­veys qual­i­ty and ele­gance against a ener­getic lifestyle. It draws on the vibrant and abun­dant green envi­ron­ment, cre­at­ing an oasis in Clifton Hill.

A for­ev­er home in a de-con­se­crat­ed and con­vert­ed church. With bespoke fin­ish­es, land­scap­ing, inte­ri­or and exte­ri­or ren­o­va­tions for a cre­ative fam­i­ly with a sin­gu­lar vision.

The form of Long House seeks to opti­mise the spa­tial con­straints of the site to cre­ate inter­nal spaces that feel as gen­er­ous and con­nect­ed to the out­doors as pos­si­ble, and to reflect the open & invit­ing per­son­al­i­ties of our clients.
